He was ready. This time for sure. Nothing was going to get passed him or his body box strapped device. It was probably a bit overkill what Ryan had invented. Spending a lot of time in the back of the barn cutting, hammering and doing a few other things. Both Cassy and Rain would only peer in before glancing at another with a worrisome look. “Should we tell him that I’m going to get our groceries delivered by van now? The local market is offering it with a little extra pay. Though the owner of the shop is more than happy to let it slide for me as long as I bring him fish from those weekly fishing trips we do.” Biting her lip, the grey haired youth returned to glance over and watch Ryan as he worked. He hadn’t been out of the barn in over a week. Barely ate anything and never slept a wink. The one time he had slept the boy had passed out in Tender’s stall. Much to the dislike of the merle genobomb. Now he was back at it. Creating some weird device that would insure the ability for him to carry food and back without having it snatched. This would show them! Show them all that he wasn’t lying when it came to the pink porky Tokota who kept on beating him over and over again. Cassy and Rain would see! Mahaha! The sudden laughter from the barn had both Cass and Rain glancing once again toward one another before slowly moving away. Okayyyyy… maybe it was time they called a doctor. Or someone to help the poor redhead out. He needed some talking to.

The box had been a lot harder to open than the pink boy had originally thought. For the passed few days he had been rolling the metal container down hillsides, off a cliff and even tried dragging it through a river. Porky finally got the box open once it hit just the right spot and exploded into pieces. All the food went flying and scattered about the area. Perfect. He’d have to go hunt it down. Something the tubby Tokota did not like doing. Handouts and snapping up leftover food on picnic tables were his thing, not wondering around like other wild Tokota and hunting. That was… so much work. Trudging down the hillside, Porky made his way to snatch up what he could find. By now the food had either gone bad or smelled. The box not having enough cooling to keep everything cold for days. The meat was somewhat slimy. The bread had turned soggy and treats had been reduced to crumbs. A soft grunt of annoyance was met with a whine as he nosed about the food. No sweet bars? What a rip off! Grumbling, Porky ate what he could before giving the metal box one good kick and watched as it tumbled off into the forest. Well, that wasn’t worth all the trouble. Giving a huff, he turned his attention back toward the dense forest before perking his ears forward. Wait a moment. That human from before. He had food at his home. Porky remembered sneaking in during the darkness of night and gobbling up what had been left outside to dry. The meat had been yummy, but it wasn’t like the sweet bars he had eaten before. But maybe, just maybe the human had more at that place! He’d just have to be extra sneaky. The whole area smelled of Tokotas, but they weren’t wild ones. Giving a lick of his maw, Porky started off toward the house where he most likely would find a few surprises waiting for him.

Uhhh, humans were so weird. With their tree like blockages and those big old square things made of wood. What did they do in there? Peering from behind a mound of brush, the pink colored Toko watched in silences as he studied what was happening. So far there was no humans around. From the corner of his eye he could see a small group of Tokotas in the distance. Most likely they wouldn’t see him since he was so far away. Giving a sniff of the air, Porky slowly made his way closer to the house as he ducked behind whatever cover he could find. Some… not the best at hiding his extra girth. Another few feet before he quickly back tracked to the side of the house, his head moving to peek around the corner as he spied the short female Toki he had met before. Fluffy didn’t seem to notice him. In fact she wasn’t really paying attention. On her back was a black chicken that was sitting comfortable within her fluff. Pausing in her steps, the toki sniffed the air for a moment before letting out a snort. The whole area smelled like machines and Ryan sweat. Porky was in luck since no one could really smell him. Turning away, the Toki trotted off toward the second barn to lay down for a nap. She would get one while Ryan was working.

A woosh of air escaped Porky’s lips as he made his way from the corner of the house toward the first barn. The sudden noise of something loud had caught his attention which brought the curious Toko closer. Sneaking a look inside, he couldn’t see much. Everything was way to dark. That was until Ryan flicked the light switch on to take a look at his work. Spotting the human from before, Porky gave a slight wag of his tail. Hey! He knew this person! The one that had given him food. Well, not given, but in Porky’s mind the man had been the one with the food. Even if he hadn’t wanted to GIVE him the food. Deciding to see what the strange human was doing, Porky slowly made his way deeper into the barn. First sneaking behind a large bale of hay before pressing his fat body as flat as it could go against the stone floor. More watching as he waited to see what the human would do. Both ears perked and nose twitching softly as he picked up the scents around him. It smelled like… one of those caves with the shiny rocks and salty water. Kinda gross.

This would surely keep that butthead of a Tokota out of the shopping he did! It took him a week, but he finally finished it. Lifting the box like object the redhead turned it around in his grasp before placing it on the tool table that was in the back area of the barn. Like the one he had before, it was covered in metal. But with rubber like sides to make sure it didn’t dent or break. The straps had been bolted to the side of the box so Ryan could easily wear it without having to put it on the back of his Tokota. The final piece was a mirror he had connected so that he could check what was going on behind him. It was a bit bulky and probably not the safest thing one should be wearing while riding something, but Ryan didn’t care at this point. He wanted to get that Tokota back for stealing his food and this was how he was going to do that! Now. Time for a trip to the store! Well, once he cleaned up. Glancing down at himself, Ryan noticed how dirty he really was and made a slight face. “Uggg…” Placing the strapped metal container down on the table, he walked off toward the front of the barn. It would only take a moment to clean himself up and pester Cassandra for a list.

Once the human was gone, Porky turned his gaze toward the shiny box. Ohhhh…. Was that like the one from before? The one filled with food? The wild Tokotas’ eyes grew wide as his tail thumped the ground. Now THAT was something he was very interested in. Maybe, just maybe he could do a little exploration of the box himself. Plus, who knew when the human would come back. If he did, hopefully with more sweet bars~
